Infrastructure

District 2 has its own set of unique challenges within the city. Its boundaries lie against the miles of seawall that shape Tampa Bay. Fortifying the boundaries of this district and implementing adequate storm water overflow must be top priority for the representative of our district. Our community cannot only rely on money from insurance firms and FEMA to bail us out after a storm, we must work with the experts and community members to ensure we build an infrastructure that can protect our homes and businesses before the crisis happens.

Development & Affordability 

The District 2 Master Plan will shape the future of our neighborhoods. The next commissioner will continue oversight and development of this project. I will have three priorities for continued management of this project: 1) affordable housing; 2) protecting the natural environment; 3) increasing the number of parks and recreational areas. Future development should be cohesive and reflect the character of our community.

As your district representative I am committed to giving community members the opportunity to be heard, implementing your needs into every phase of development within the district and throughout the city.
