Courtney Bermudez is a proven leader and organizer in the St. Pete Community. Rooted in Community. Driven by Service.Focused on People.

My work has always centered on people. Safety, dignity, equitable access to resources, and right to be heard.

I’ve spent years working directly with my neighbors, problem solving, navigating complex systems, and advocating for equity for all.

I’ve seen how policies affect real people in real time. I’ve seen how storms disrupt lives, rising costs push families out and how development can reshape entire neighborhoods while government feels distant, unresponsive and out of touch.

These experiences shape my commitment to St. Petersburg.

My Values

Community First

A strong city is built on strong neighborhoods.
I believe in listening, learning, and leading with a level head, compassion and empathy.

Equity Always

We are not all dealt the same hand.
Equity means removing barriers and ensuring everyone has a fair shot.

Transparency Matters

Trust is built through honesty, clarity, and accessibility.
Leadership has a responsibility to be straightforward, informative, accessible and responsive.

Solutions Over Slogans

Real problems require real solutions.
I focus on practical, community‑driven approaches with visible, measurable differences.

Why I Serve

I believe in a St. Pete where every resident regardless of background, income, identity, or neighborhood knows they are seen, valued, and supported.

I serve because too many people feel like their voice doesn’t matter.

I want you to know:

Your voice is powerful.
Your vote is powerful.
Your presence is powerful.
YOU are valued.
