Bermudez enters the race with a clear message: District 2 deserves a representative with real community experience, a record of advocacy, and commitment to transparent and ethical leadership.
“As someone who has lived, worked, and served across St. Pete — from Largo to downtown and North St. Pete — I understand the daily realities our residents face,” Bermudez said. “This campaign is about putting people first, strengthening our neighborhoods, and restoring trust in how our city operates.”
A Record of Community Leadership and Advocacy
Bermudez has built her career solving complex problems throughout her community which has involved partnering with local residents and navigating housing regulation. She currently works as a Licensed Community Association Manager, which involves the management of multimillion‑dollar budgets, infrastructure projects, and ensuring accountability in environments where transparency and ethics are non‑negotiable.
She takes a hands-on approach to leadership, because she understands that her direct involvement builds a connection to the people in the community, ensuring the outcomes of the project meet their needs. She also understands how city systems affect everyday life and the importance of complete sidewalk paths, drainage systems, public safety and neighborhood services.
A Vision for Stronger Infrastructure and Transparent Government
Bermudez’s campaign priorities:
• Infrastructure that keeps pace with growth — prioritize reliable drainage, safer streets, and expanded public transportation to protect neighborhoods and improve daily life.
• Transparent, ethical governance — ensure clear, timely, and honest communication between residents and their district representative; build trust through accountability and open processes.
• Community-centered leadership — put local residents at the decision-making table; strengthen neighborhood networks and support grassroots solutions.
• Advocacy for working families and longtime residents — protect affordability, preserve the character of St. Pete’s historic neighborhoods, and defend policies that keep families rooted in our community.
“District 2 deserves a representative who is present, listens, and seeks to understand,” Bermudez said. “I’m running because I believe in a St. Pete where residents can afford to build stable lives, infrastructure can meet the needs of the local environment, and decision making is ethical and transparent.”
